ASPC is located on the Aegean coast near the village of Alaçatı on Turkey’s beautiful Çesme peninsular. Alaçatı is only 90 km from Izmir’s modern Adnan Menderes International Airport.

Alaçatı is blessed with amazing conditions for windsurfers and kitesurfers. The Meltemi wind blows reliably throughout the long Mediterranean summer, with the local coastal mountains creating a Venturi effect, funnelling and accelerating the wind across Alaçatı bay. The wind usually picks up in the morning, when the conditions are ideal for beginners, increasing steadily to 4-6 Beaufort by the afternoon, when the slalom and freestyle cracks get their share of the action. The water temperature is +20 degrees during the season so you can ride in just a lycra and boardshorts. In Spring and Autumn a 2-3 mm wetsuit is perfect.
